Chang He

Changhe Street is located on the south bank of the Qiantang River and faces the old city area of Hangzhou across the river. Prior to 1995, it belonged to Xiaoshan City. On December 12, 1996, the newly established Binjiang District in Hangzhou incorporated Changhe Town under its jurisdiction. In 2002, after the merger of Binjiang District and the Hangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Changhe Street became part of Hangzhou's Binjiang District (High-tech Zone). On December 18, 2003, Changhe Town was abolished and Changhe Street was established.
