GongChenQiao

Gongchenqiao Subdistrict is named after the Ming Dynasty stone arch bridge that spans the canal. It was established in August 1954 and is a subdistrict under the jurisdiction of Gongshu District, Hangzhou City. Gongchenqiao Subdistrict is located in the central-northern part of Gongshu District, Hangzhou City. It is the location of the Gongshu District Committee and District Government. The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal runs through the jurisdiction, dividing the subdistrict into the east and west sides. The eastern part is adjacent to Shangtang Subdistrict in the north and Shangtang Subdistrict in the east, while the western part connects with Xiangfu Subdistrict and Hemu Subdistrict, and the south is linked to Xiaohe Subdistrict.
